Scott's Biography

Scott Alan Cox Jr. was born on April 12, 1989, to his parents Scott and Rhonda Cox. He was the older brother of Joey and Tyler Cox. Scottie was born and raised on the west side of Cincinnati. Growing up, Scottie enjoyed playing sports, but excelled in wrestling while he was in high school. He graduated from Oak Hills High School in 2007. In 2008, Scottie enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. During his time in the Marines, he served in combat in Afghanistan. Scottie received a Navy and Marine Corps Commendation (with Combat Distinguishing Device) for Valor and a Combat Action Ribbon. While in the Marines, Scottie married Jackie in 2008 and welcomed their daughter Maddie in 2009. He was honorably discharged in 2015, and he returned home to Cincinnati to be welcomed back by his family and friends. After Scottie returned home, he was blessed with two more children, Emmy (2019) and Cooper (2020). Scottie had found his passion for law enforcement and joined the Cincinnati Police Department as a member of its 111th recruit class. Scottie proudly served the community for three years before his untimely passing in September 2024.
